Tidy is now an official member of New Zealand Health IT (NZHIT), the peak body for the New Zealand digital health industry sector. As part of our mission to bring to digital transformation to the health sector in New Zealand and worldwide, we support NZHIT’s vision of enabling a healthier New Zealand through world class health and wellbeing supported by digital technology.
Members of NZHIT include the majority of digital health companies in New Zealand and the organisation contributes and invests in the development of digital health solutions. Tidy is proud to be part of these efforts to support quality health, social care and wellbeing services in New Zealand and worldwide.
As part of our commitment to helping businesses in healthcare and medical sectors, Tidy recently recruited Biomedical Engineering graduate Sharon Wong from the University of Auckland. She now works full time for Tidy as a software engineer specialising in health tech and is researching and developing a new product, TidyClinic.
Sharon has already spent time in clinical practice at the Tauranga Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery getting hands on experience in everything from consultation sessions between doctors and patients, to the reception desk to surgical procedures.
This insight helps us understand the specific challenges that healthcare professionals encounter in everyday practice so that we can better develop industry specific software to help health and wellbeing organisations save time, cost and resources.
